Lucian’s pov
I leave early in the morning, taking Fred with me, making it look like a diplomatic visit to discuss pack matters and how they are getting on with their rogue problem.
We gain entry no problem, and Bernard is just as irritating and slimy as I remember him, his stuck up wife and daughter are not any better. The only one I can stand is his son Zander.
I am wary of him too now, as I dont know what went on with Aurora in this pack and who was involved.
They ask after everyone except Aurora, they really are a piece of work. Unless she is here so they know how she is. That thought is squashed in the next second when Zander speaks.
“How is my sister Alpha Lucian, I hope you and your pack are treating her well?” he says with a warning tone in his voice.
