My heat started when I woke up in the morning, the unmated guard was sent away, and Fred replaced him. All the dungeon guards have been changed for the next three days for mated ones.
Lucian, thankfully, does not appear at all on the first day. I am in so much pain I managed to get a shot from the pack doctor to help with it and Nadia and Lisa have been taking turns to press cold wet cloths on me to keep me cooler it is not doing much, but it is better than nothing.
