Chapter 26
We spent the week trying to get a hold of my new power, I have managed to call a small rain cloud above my hand and make it rain for a couple of minutes. Talia was impressed by it, but I just felt it was going so slow.
“I know it is frustrating, and it feels like it is taking forever, and nothing much is happening. This is a big step even if it does not feel like it. You have successfully made something out of nothing. I remember feeling the frustration when I was starting out with my fire abilities, I thought I would never get the hang of it” she tells me.
“I know you are right. It’s just so hard to feel positive at times when there is barely anything to show for your efforts. I will keep trying to stay positive. It won’t help getting worked up and frustrated by it” I say.
