  She was not the least bit refreshed when she woke up. She felt about as stupid as she looked, catching a glimpse of herself in the mirror, looking like Albert Einstein's doppelgänger. She'd always been a day dreamer, but this time she vowed not to let him get to her, and to deal with Stephen when he came back into town. Sometimes phone conversations relayed emotions you didn't really mean to convey. Perhaps he would express himself better in person, and not just presume they could pick up where they left off. He meant a great deal to her, he always had, but he seemed just a tad bit presumptuous about where they were in their new 'relationship, although it didn't feel much like a relationship to her.
