Cullen and Alfred were still up to making his life worse. Winsor was not yet around. He heard from his classmates that his parents would transfer him to another school because of the k********g incident.
The two bullies tried to steal his money before their teacher entered the room, and his classmates were just looking at them, scared to interfere and stop them from bullying him. I'm glad their teacher came in, and the two bullies just sat down, but they glared at him. Cullen placed his thumb on his neck and made a sign he would be dead later. Zane gulped.
When the school bell rang, he immediately rqn out of the room to quickly hide from the two little devils. He went to the rooftop to have his lunch. He was used to eating by himself, without anyone bothering him.
He opened his bag and took out his lunch box and the water jug. He opened the lid and smelled the egg roll his father prepared that morning. His mother, Wane and Anne left early for Anne's thorough check-up if she can already undergo the operation. He picked up his spoon and fork and started eating.
"Zane," a voice from his back called him.
"Eurus?" Zane's jaw dropped. "What are you doing here?" He placed his lunch box on the ground and stood up to face his visitor.
"I heard on the news that you were studying in this school." He looked around. "Why are you here on the rooftop and eating alone?"
"I just want some privacy during my lunch," he said casually. "That's all." He avoided his eye contact.
"Are you sure? You don't know how to tell a lie." He crossed his arms. "Why are you here and not hanging out with your classmates?"
He sighed. "Okay. I always get bullied. Remember the kidnap victim? He is one of them. They bully me anytime, all the time as long as they see an opportunity." He looked down and kicked the small stone on the ground. What can he do? He was just a poor, loner boy who couldn't even fight back. "I can fight back but I don't want to hurt anyone with my powers," he said to himself.
Eurus bent down to level his eyes. "Then why did you save him? You were the key to why he is safe now."
"My father always taught me to help the people in need, in any way I can. I live up to it. I admire my father so much." He did not blink while saying those things. His answer came straight from his heart. "I don't agree with taking revenge."
"I can't believe I am talking to a ten-year-old kid." He laughed a bit. He stood up straight. "Kids these days are smarter and wiser than ever. Your father raised you well."
"My father is the best in the world," he proudly said. "Why were you looking for me?"
"Right, I was looking for you to give you something. I'd like to give you this." He took out his hand and a bow appeared. "I am giving this to you as a sign of our friendship."
"Whoa!" He accepted the gift from Eurus. He brushed his hand on the limb tip down to the bottom limb, then he held the grip and pulled the string as if trying to hit a target. The limb's color is silver and the grip is black. "This bow is beautiful!"
"That is a wind bow. Try to pull the string again and see for yourself." He held Zane's shoulder, his hand lit for a few seconds. "Try to pull it but don't release the arrow."
"I don't see an arrow." He looked around him.
"You will see the arrow after pulling the string."
He was sceptical, but this man already saved him twice. He raised the bow and pulled the string. A clear, wind arrow suddenly appeared. "This is so cool!"
"Remember, do not use it on humans. You only use it to protect yourself and your loved ones, and do not use it now." He touched Zane's head. "I saw the news and your father said you want to learn archery."
"Thank you, Eurus." He hugged him on his waist.
"Keep it for now. Learn how to use a regular bow and arrow. You can use my gift in the future. I will teach you how to use it when the right time comes. Again, promise me you will not use it until I teach you how to use it. Got it?"
"I will not use it." He raised his right hand. He could not contain his happiness. He hugged the bow as if it was the most precious gift in the world. He just suddenly remembered something. "How can I keep this? My bully classmates might take this from me."
"I blessed the bow to follow your command. Command it to disappear."
Zane got confused, but he followed what Eurus told him. "Disappear!" The bow suddenly disappeared. His jaw dropped. "Where did it go?" He looked around to find it.
"It is always with you, just hiding in the wind. Call its name—Plori Anemoi—every time you need it.."
"I-I'll try," he said. He raised his hands and opened his palms. "Plori Anemoi." It suddenly appeared in his hands. "This is so cool!"
"Remember my words, don't use it to any human beings and don't use it until I say so," he said firmly, reminding the kid once more.
He nodded. "I won't. I promise."
"I will see you around, Zane. I have to go now." He waved his hand and flew quickly like the wind.
"I received a treasure." He hugged it again before commanding it to disappear.

"Dad, where have you been?" Aera asked her father. She is in her room now, about to leave for her training.
"I just visited a good young friend and gave him a gift." Eurus sat down on the couch. He went back to Olympus after meeting with
Zane. "He is always entangled every time I am in the middle of hunting kakodaimons."
"I see. I have training again after a while." She kept her silent for a bit. "Dad, am I an immortal?"
'Yes, you are, Aera. The fluid running in your veins is not even blood, it is ichor."
"What?" She has no idea what that means. "What is it?"
"You never had a scar or wounds in your life, Aera. I did my best not to let you have any bruises, because ichor is poisonous to humans. Your mother will be in danger, too."
"I-I will check my blood—Ichor later." She scratched her head. "How's Mom, Dad?"
"She is doing well. She said she is happy you are studying abroad and getting a scholarship... that was the story I gave her. She is also happy travelling with your grandmother and your Aunt Brenda."
"I'm glad to hear she is okay even though I am far away..." Her voice faded, and she felt sad being away from her mother. "I can visit her sometimes, right, Dad? I-I'm not a prisoner here?"
"Of course, Aera. You are free to visit her once you have already learned how to tap your hidden powers and you know how to use them properly."
"I will go ahead now to start the training. My master is waiting. See you around, Dad." She waved her hand and left the room.
