The way she raised her voice as she looked at me in horror, it felt like a big accomplishment for me to do even if it is not a very big deal. On top of that, it is even a lie that I needed to use as an excuse just so this woman would leave me alone already. Besides, Don proposed the idea of having me marry him instead, so it won’t be too much to create a lie based on that. I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t complain about it anyway.
A smirk formed my lips as I raised my chin, showing my upper hand this time. “Oh it is the truth, woman!
