I saw Ladon run towards the woods after he left the cave and I wanted to know where he was going. Blaze fell asleep again after eating his meal so I took the opportunity to follow him.
He stopped in the middle of the woods as I hid behind a tree, suddenly seeing when he was attacked by one of the twins. I wanted to help, but he seemed to have it handled.
Then, the other twin tried to stop him, but I could feel something happening between them. It was as if he knew who she was to him. The way he was close to her made me think she was his…mate.
I returned to the cave as fast as I could and headed to the river, sitting on the grass with my feet in the water. It was dark, but that didn’t really bother me.
