Agatha paced the floor of her small, cozy kitchen, her thoughts consumed by worry. The third group was set to leave tomorrow, and Lucia, her precious daughter, was among them. She couldn't shake the feeling of dread that gnawed at her insides. Agatha decided she needed to speak with Lucia, to ensure she had everything she needed and to impart some last-minute advice. She packed a small bag of herbs and tonic, things that might come in handy during the journey, and headed towards Lucia's room.
The house was quiet as Agatha made her way down the hall. She could hear faint murmurs coming from Lucia's room, but she dismissed it as her daughter talking to herself, a habit she'd had since childhood. As she reached the door, she hesitated for a moment before gently pushing it open.
