Julie's POV:
It's been a few days since Mr. Tol punished me for trying to escape, disobeying his orders, and mouthing back at him. I still can't lay on my back but I wasn't figuring I could. It still hurts so much to try to move. Laying on my side still isn't an option but it feels like I could probably start doing that here pretty soon.
Aaron has been the one to come in and change out my bandages and clean the wounds. He keeps telling me to stop trying to move so much because the scabs aren't that hard and I keep breaking some of them open causing them to bleed again. Once I can move carefully without them opening back up he said he will allow me to get up out of bed. Until then, he's been the one to help me with everything.
I've been wearing a nightgown to keep myself covered
