Chapter 8
As the credits for the movie played, the meaning of the words of the voice sank in, and I stifled my gasp. I think somebody made a threat against Peter, and that deserved my full attention.
I decided that in order to find what out was going on, I needed to do two things: talk to Moira, and get information from Peter about this woman.
"Hey Peter, that girl you’re talking about, have I met her?"
"I'm not sure if you have or not, Mac,” he said, his eyes furrowed. “But, I wouldn't mind hearing what your opinion is of her, maybe you’d want to meet her? If we can get Moira to clear it, why don't we plan on going to Ollie’s in the next couple of nights and I'll set it up?"
