Jeff's wolf takes me by surprise as he comes out of the building. He's jet black and very large, a clear sign that he comes from an Alpha family. But the more I think about it, the more sense it makes. He works at the palace, after all, and a lot of the advisors there had been Alphas of their own territories before the creation of the empire. He's probably the son of one of those men.
If that's the case, there's a chance he might even know the royal family. I guess that means I better watch what I say about them, although, when it comes right down to it, I've never been one to keep my opinions to myself.
