Chapter 9
Heavy snow fell late into the night, so Garrett and Luka stayed over. Garrett slept in the room he used when he worked night shift, and Luka camped out on the sofa.
Jacob had wanted to invite Luka into his room, but they weren’t sure it was the right thing to do. Not with a houseful of people. Of course, there would always be a houseful of people, but they could cross that bridge later. Besides, Luka had insisted he’d be fine on the sofa and Jacob made sure he had plenty of blankets and a pillow.
