Chapter 10 The next day, Jacob was a walking bundle of nerves. The plan was set. Decisions had been made. But he still worried. He didn’t want anything to mess this up. He couldn’t take a chance with his grandfather’s legacy. It was ironic that the blackmailer had called first thing that morning, before Jacob had even had a chance to contact the man through the email he’d used to send the video. When Jacob had informed him he’d gathered together the money, he’d seemed surprised—almost sad, actually.
