Chapter 13Josh woke with a sweet, slow certainty that everything was perfect. He breathed deeply of the scent of his fiancé spooned up against him and smiled.
They really were going to get married. Just that thought should be scaring the hell out of him. But it wasn’t. His gut aversion to marriage hadn’t just disappeared, of course, but having seen the alternative, he just wasn’t fazed by it anymore. Knowing Adam was going to be his for life sounded like a gift, not a burden.
Adam mumbled something and snuggled closer, rubbing against him. Josh’s morning erection swelled in response. He cast a hopeful glance at the clock and frowned. No time. He had to be at work in less than an hour. Promising himself they’d make up for it later, he slipped out of bed and headed for the shower.
