Right on time, a knuckles rapped on my door. “Coming,” I called out as I quickly grabbed my things and hurried to open it. “Morning,” Thad greeted me, a shy smile on his face that put me instantly at ease for some reason. “Ready?” I nodded and, after locking the door behind me, tried to catch my breath. Thad looked really nice today, sexy even. He’d left his baseball cap behind this time, and his short-sleeved plaid shirt with black slacks suited him. His eyes were shining, too.
