After two weeks, everything has fallen back into a normal routine. Work is fine and I can sit in my apartment without feeling the heavy burden of loneliness. Rose and Ryan keep me more than occupied, either having a dinner get together once out the week or just coming over with to hang out. I've never been more grateful for two people. Some days I'm fine and happy. Other days, I wake up missing Bennett like crazy. I'm just going to have to live with that. Maybe it'll wear off after a while, but for now it's my life.
My friendship with Leo has even gotten better. He is there to talk to when I need to vent to someone about how I'm feeling. Sometimes I don't talk about anything of substance, but he still listens and gives his words of advice. It's hard confining in him about missing Bennett
