Chapter 2: A Flashback to Their First Meeting

1075 Words
Actually, this wasn't the first time Rong Yu had seen Su Mo. Their first encounter was two years ago, when Su Mo first arrived at Atlantis University. "Hey! Freshmen, don't miss out! Joining a club is a must in college! Come on, come on! Join our team, and our seniors will show you a great time!" A student was shouting into a megaphone, repeating the same words over and over again. The sounds of various clubs recruiting filled every corner of the campus. Parents were everywhere, accompanied by their children who had just been admitted. Only one person stood out, carrying two large suitcases and looking around, seemingly lost. Rong Yu walked over and asked, "Do you need any help?" Hearing someone speak, Su Mo turned around. Rong Yu watched as the other slowly removed his mask. The face beneath the mask was clean and handsome, with fair skin and a hint of pink. Sweat trickled down his forehead and onto his chin. For some reason, Rong Yu found himself swallowing unconsciously at this sight. Rong Yu paused for a moment and continued, "Is there anything I can help you with? Are you a freshman? If you have any questions, I can help you." Su Mo quickly replied, "Yes! Senior, I'm a freshman. I can't find my dorm building. I've been walking around for so long but I can't find it!" "It's okay, let me see your admission notice." "C-12 building! It's over there! It's a bit far, in the direction of the library. You probably went the wrong way before. Come with me, I'll take you there!" Rong Yu said patiently, looking at Su Mo. Su Mo pulled his suitcase and followed behind, stumbling a bit. Rong Yu noticed that he had a lot of luggage, so he took the initiative to help and pulled the suitcase away. Su Mo thought to himself, "This senior is so nice. He's handsome, his face is top-notch, his voice is gentle, and he's so patient!" So he took the initiative to strike up a conversation. "Senior, my name is Su Mo. Su from Su Dongpo, and Mo from shuimo(ink and wash painting). I'm a foreign language major. What about you?" Rong Yu turned to look at him and replied, "I'm from the law school. I'm a sophomore." Su Mo said happily, "Law school, huh? That's amazing! So, what's your name, senior?" When Su Mo smiled, two shallow dimples appeared on his face, giving him a neighborly look. Rong Yu couldn't help but reply, "My name is Rong Yu. Rong as in tolerant, and Yu as in the sun." The two chatted as they walked, and soon they arrived at C-12 building. Just as Rong Yu was about to carry Su Mo's luggage upstairs, he received a call from the student council for an urgent meeting. Due to the suddenness of the situation, he said goodbye to Su Mo and left in a hurry. The school was neither too big nor too small. Since they were from different departments, the two hadn't seen each other since then. Today, when Rong Yu saw Su Mo again, he thought to himself, "I wonder if this kid's dimples have gotten deeper?" However, what Rong Yu didn't know was that Su Mo had been thinking about him for the past two years. After leaving the meeting room, Su Mo originally wanted to wait for Rong Yu at the door, but there were too many fans, and there was no chance. Besides, he didn't know when Rong Yu would come out, so he quickly ran back to the dormitory, kicked open the door, took off his shirt, and lay on the bed motionless. Han Su saw his smooth movements and couldn't help but tease, "I wonder if your Senior Rong has ever seen you in such a disheveled and lazy state." "How could he possibly notice me? He didn't even look at me during the interview today, and he didn't even lift his head. And he's probably not gay!" Because he was lying on the bed, his voice was muffled, making him sound a bit pitiful. When Su Mo first entered university, his roommates didn't know about his s****l orientation. After they found out, they quietly moved out without even saying goodbye. Since then, Su Mo had been living alone. Han Su moved in with Su Mo in his sophomore year. From the day he moved in, Su Mo told him he was gay. At first, he was a bit surprised. For Han Su, it was an unknown area, especially how two men could do that kind of thing. Later, after searching online, he realized that there were many people like Su Mo, and it wasn't a disease, it was just that the person they loved happened to be male. From initially unable to accept it to gradually understanding, Han Su, although straight, was thoughtful and very kind to Su Mo. As roommates, they were quite a good match. After knowing that Su Mo liked Rong Yu, whenever he heard any news or rumors about Rong Yu, he would tell Su Mo without omission. When Han Su found out that Su Mo had liked Rong Yu for almost two years, he felt sorry for Su Mo. You like someone, but they don't know? Isn't that frustrating and embarrassing? Han Su knew about Su Mo's family background. His family was wealthy, his mother had passed away, and his father was a successful businessman with a large company and a wide range of businesses. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that he could live a carefree life as a rich second-generation. But Su Mo didn't have the bad habits of those spoiled rich kids. On the contrary, he was very clean and pure, giving people the feeling of being as clear as water. The only flaw might be his s****l orientation. "I'm going to buy some snacks. Considering your recent heartbreak, what do you want to eat? Just say it, and I'll bring it back for you," Han Su kicked Su Mo's foot and asked. "Please empty the entire convenience store for me. I need food to heal my wounded heart!" He handed his card to Han Su. Han Su took the card, glanced at it, and scolded, "I'm not going to indulge your capitalist habits, you little fairy. You're asking for a beating!" With that, he picked Su Mo up from the bed.
