Chapter 9:
The Return of CharlesTom stood in front of Charles and Dean in the Manor. The lights on the outside were low and brightening. It was getting dark and the rest of the lights nearby were humming and turn on one by one.
“So, is that all you have to report? Cameron and Francis are a couple and Afriel has gotten closer to this Sam guy?”
“Yes sir, if you remember, you have already met Sam. He was the male angel with the black wings that assisted in the girl’s escape. He was also the one that had his foot on you when you were at the house a few weeks ago, the one that beat the dog meat out of you sir.”
“Charles, I want you to go back with Tom and check on my prizes and work on finding Sam’s weakness. I don’t want another interference.”
“I will.” Charles bowed and placed his hand
