Chapter 5:
Kayley Meets CameronWe arrive on Illinois and 16th street in Lynn Haven and we sat under a gazebo at the park there on the left. I looked over at Charles and stared into his beautiful eyes and asked myself why would I have given all that up? Why would I have given him up? It was something I thought a lot about over the week or so that we have been traveling (At least I think it’s been a week, I’m not sure). I am not sure where we are going to or why, but I am following the advice of an old woman who seemed to know me better than I know myself. So, there we sat taking a much-needed break from walking when we heard this deafening scream. I looked around, and I saw no one or anything so I ignored it.
