Hope
I wasn't sure what to expect. It was my first day of training with the UberPack. So far, I had managed to avoid joining their pack. I was there as a guest, but everyone could feel I was an outsider, and people in the pack looked at me with either curiosity or mistrust. At least they could feel I was an alpha like most of them, but that only caused some of them to want to challenge me. I could tell, even if they didn't say it. Like Dagger had said, it was important for them to see how we ranked and they would feel unsettled while they didn't know where I was on the scale. I had to admit I felt kind of the same way, I wanted to prove myself to them, but I was afraid that I was going to end up too low.
