I don't know how I managed to reach the cave behind the waterfall. I remember falling into the icy water and getting lost in the whirlpool at the base of the waterfall, and then I was out, already behind the curtain of water. I remember our mom telling us about it, and I only hoped my brother had forgotten about it. If he still remembered about it, my escape wouldn't last for long, he would know where to look when they didn't find me down the river.
