Pulling up outside of the building, I hop out of the truck and race round to help Elise out of the cab, lowering her to the ground before taking her hand securely in mine and making my way through the open door, following the sound of deep base music.
As we walked into the main hall, my eyes are momentarily blinded by the disco lights that flashed from the DJ’s set up as he blasted out the latest pop songs. All my classmates were there, grinding their bodies to the music, drinks in hand, the party was obviously already a raging success.
