Opening my eyes I groaned loudly as the hammering pain in my head drumming a tune against my skull. Wincing slightly I gingerly sat up and looked around me, my mouth falling open at the sight of my classmates, some covered in blood, others coming out of hiding, their fear evident.
‘Brandon?’ came Lily’s voice from beside me, looking over I connected with her deep brown eyes as she scrutinised me.
‘Hey Lil, what happened?’ I asked groggily.
‘We got attacked’ she replied, anger lace in her voice, ‘seems those ass holes from Blue Lake didn’t just stop by my party to be neighbourly.’
