I froze for a few seconds, savoring the feel of his arms. To tell you the truth I had missed the trio. Then I remembered what I saw that afternoon and moved away, pushing him away with more force than I intended. 'Daryl,' I said, clearing my throat as I found it dry. 'Hello, beautiful. I must say I am very disappointed.' I raised an eyebrow at him, 'oh? What about?' He moved forward, ran a finger on my jawline before stopping it on my lips. 'This was not the greeting I was hoping for after all this time.' I scoffed at him, 'and whose fault is that?' Early looked at me and frowned, 'ours?' He sounded unsure. 'Enough about that. You are here to have fun with your friends, I don't want to dampen that. We will have our time.' Placing a gentle kiss on the corner of my lip, he walked away
