*Kate POV*
Once the party was over I went for a walk with Drake in the garden. My parents were furious, but at the moment I didn't care, because I was with my mate. He would protect me. The only thing that scared me was the fact that I would have to leave with them and go home. I didn't know what was going to await me there. I shudder just thinking about it. I will beg and plead with them, they should be happy I found my mate.
"You are scared aren't you?" Drake said with concern as we walk down the garden path. I gulp inwardly and nod my head softly. "Yes, because my parents are furious with me. They had some kind of plan for me tonight and I didn't go along with it apparently. I don't even know what the plan was anyways. I have always been an embarrassment to them. They treat me so bad
