As Rye had assured me, the helicopter ride was short. In less than ten minutes, we had found ourselves stepping out of the chopper into the heliport of the Ritz Carlton Hotel. However, it did not actually feel short for me. Rye's last comment had made time stop, and for a couple of moments, I had thought I was trapped in an endless loop. It wasn't until a staff of Ritz Carlton had opened the doors that I realized we had arrived. "Told you you had nothing to worry about," Rye said, taking my hand as we walked to the stairs leading into the hotel. I was still out of words, so "Yeah" was all I managed to say.
