The side of my right cheek rested on my fist as a smile slowly formed on my lips. I sat on the stool, hanging out on the kitchen counter while watching Noah standing in front of the stove. He was cooking pan-seared steak for the both of us. While busy with the steak, Noah quickly turned my way. He flashed a smile before he focused on cooking again. I sighed dreamily as I continued to stare at him. Honestly, I never thought that we would be able to spend our time peacefully and comfortably like this.
