Like what I asked him, Zero came to pick me up at nine in the morning. It was indeed earlier than the usual time we agreed upon. We headed straight to a cafe downtown where we could eat a light breakfast. I had french toast and iced coffee while Zero had his fill with a clubhouse sandwich and hot Americano. I made the right decision to drink caffeine as I didn’t get enough sleep the night before.
