The next challenge wasn’t on the ground. Marc looked over a wide mud pit, starting at the top of the wall. If the base of the pit was level with the ground on the other side of the wall, the mud had to be at least sixty feet deep. Glittering stones twinkled amidst the brown muck: diamond-like with shimmering fire inside, randomly scattered every two or three feet across the surface of the mud.
