A love from the past

Sofia knew perfectly well why Freddy was sneering. He was only laughing at her, because she and Diana had used the same means against him. But, just when Sofia wanted to argue for the last time, Freddy finally spoke. I'm leaving tomorrow for a business trip. We'll talk about it when I get back. "Well, I'll wait for him. What day will Mr. Spark be back?" Sofia asked with a forced smile. But, when Freddy saw that change in her mood, he simply ignored her and went back upstairs to his room without saying a word. Soon the delivery date had arrived. Sofia went to KG Odjeca and handed over the designs to Brian. Fortunately, no more than two hours had passed, when Brian returned with a happy expression. The boss had approved the designs and asked Sofia to sign the contract the next day. Hearing that, Sofia was f*****g relieved. She was actually scared that the man wouldn't be satisfied with her designs. In fact, the company's anniversary was coming up in a few days, and the magazine intended to use that opportunity to expand its business and talk to the presenter to promote itself. In addition, there were not only new clothing and jewellery designs, there were also handbags, high-end shoes... After the drafts were approved, they had to polish the details and finally work out the final products. There were dozens of things to do, so a couple of days was not enough time. Sofia was really nervous about this. Since her contract, she had been really busy. She had to do the final designs herself. After all, after the press conference, she had to deliver things to a factory for processing and sale. Sofia was f*****g busy and impatient, not only because of the work, but also because of the issue of the divocio with Freddy. In fact, she didn't know whether or not he had returned from his business trip. Likewise, he never called her. It's late, Sofia just put down her pencil and wanted to rest a bit, but, as she was about to close her eyes, her phone suddenly rang. When Sofia saw the number, she frowned and decided not to answer. Apparently her father hadn't stopped calling her since his reappearance. Without a handle, the phone rang again a couple of times, trying Sofia's patience. "Sofia, your brother needs his tuition paid for. I need money," said the man. "Money? When money?" "Mmmm... I need fifty thousand dollars. Maybe I'll save the rest for next month" he said with disdain. "What? What kind of school costs that much?" replied Sofia intrigued. "Why are you making excuses? Your husband is a millionaire, give me the damn money," Fidel shouted angrily. "I got divorced! I don't have money for that" said Sofia with a serious tone. "What? What a fool you are! But, you have to have half of your assets. So stop making excuses and give me the money," said Fidel in a demanding tone. "No, I won't give you a penny!" Sofia finally shouted before hanging up the phone with a sneer of contempt. As Sofia thought about how irrational that call was, the phone rang again. Seeing that it wasn't Fidel, Sofia calmly answered again. "Did Dad call you? Don't give him money, he's back at the casino and he owes a lot of money. He is running away, again!" said Gabriel. In fact, when Fidel sold Sofia and ran away, Gabriel was left alone, and had to find a way to survive. "I won't give him money... Have you decided what you are going to study? I have some money, you can use it to leave the country and study something," asked Sofia. For Sofia, Gabriel was the only real thing in her life, so she was willing to send him as far away from her father as possible. After all, she wouldn't let her younger brother be sold out like her for Fidel's vices. "No, I'm not going anywhere." Hearing that, Sofia felt somewhat disappointed, but she couldn't help but smile and agree with his decisions. "All right, tell me if you need some money." "I don't need your money, how is Mr. Millionaire treating you?" asked Gabriel worriedly. But, when Sofia heard that name, she was speechless and just smiled, "Well, we're getting divorced...". Hearing that, Gabriel was not surprised at all. As his brother, he knew perfectly well how bad that marriage was. In fact, he was slightly relieved to hear that his sister would finally be free. After a couple of words, Sofia hung up the call and left the bedroom. However, when Sofia went downstairs to the living room, she saw Melanie on the couch, her expression weak and sad. "Melanie? Are you all right? " "Yeah, I'm just having my period. Can you go to the shop for tampons and something for the pain?" Melanie said with a downcast look on her face. "Of course!" Sofia said When Sofia was in the pharmacy, she saw the tampons on the shelf and suddenly remembered that her period hadn't come in the last month. In fact, since her miscarriage, her period had been totally irregular, which she just didn't bother to worry about. Thinking nothing more of it, Sofia grabbed the tampons, but just as she was about to leave, a woman entered the shop and walked down the aisle knocking her by the cut. Feeling the shove, Sofia's bags fell to the floor as the woman just fixed her dress. "Are you stupid?" When Sofia heard that familiar voice, she looked up and gave her a cold stare. "Tessa? It's been so long..." "What? It's you... What... What are you doing here? Are you going to look for a married man?" Tessa said with a mocking tone. "Hey, Tessa, you shouldn't be here. Or don't you know how vindictive I can be?" said Sofia picking up her bag and staring into Tessa's eyes. Hearing that, Tessa's calm expression turned fearful and without hesitation she took a step back, "What are you planning on doing?" "You'd better not have children. Otherwise, you should be very careful. I'll never forget it..." Sofia said ominously. "You really are crazy! Only you know that this pregnancy was a fake. Don't try to blame me. Besides, if you touch me... the Spark family will never forgive you... and my cousin will leave you with nothing when he asks you for a divorce!" said Tessa with no idea what was going on in Sofia's life. "I have nothing to lose... You better watch out" Sofia hinted again. Hearing that, Tessa simply turned around and left the pharmacy in a hurry. When she got into the car, her face was f*****g pale. "And the shopping?" the man next to her asked intrigued. "Ithan, remember the woman I mentioned? The one who fakes a pregnancy to marry my cousin Freddy... I've found her!" Without saying anything, Ithan didn't even pay attention to Tessa's words. His gaze was fixed on a place outside the car. "Ithan? Are you listening to me? " Tessa hinted in exasperation. Suddenly Ithan opened the door and ran out of the car with a surprised expression. "Ithan! What's going on? What are you looking for?" shouted Tessa as she got out of the car after him. "I... I... I just... no one, I think I got confused," said Ithan between stutters. In fact, he had seen a figure that resembled that sweet girl he had loved for day and night. "Tessa, let me order a taxi for you. I must do some things..." Ithan suddenly hinted. "But you promised me..." she tried to claim, but he just ignored her and taking the phone Ithan called a taxi. "I must go" he said walking away to the car and leaving ignoring the complaints of the woman next to him. That night when Sofia returned home, Melanie ran to her excitedly and handed her a message she had received. "This is Ithan. Melanie, tell me, have you heard from Sofia? I would like to see it" When Sofia read that message her world came crashing down. Ithan, the tender, kind, romantic boy she had loved before she met her ill-fated husband. Had he come back for her? Had he never forgotten her?
