A group of college girls is walking in the middle of the hallway with thick books in their arms wearing a school uniform. "Where do you plan to have an intern? I already applied to Construction Company, I am still waiting for their response," she asked and spoke. She is a chubby one in their circle of friends. Braided hair and chinky eyes. "I am already accepted in our company, I don't want to wait from the other company for nothing, at least I will familiarize what's happening inside ours." The woman in curly-haired answered. Porchia just stared at the group of girls who are talking about internships. She already applied to a different company but she still didn't receive any reply. She pouted her lips and sits on the bench on the right side of the quadrangle where football players are playing. She puts both palms on her face, "When will I received any good news?" she asked herself, "It's been a week and the internship will start after two weeks," she whispered while her face is almost crumpled. A bottle of juice touched her forehead and get back to her senses, "What are you doing?" he asked and drink water from his tumbler. "Kuya, you are here. I didn't saw you're coming," she answered and grabs the bottle from him, "Thank you." She opened it. "You didn't saw me because you are out of your mind again, Porchia. What happened? Tell me." He sits beside her. Porchia pouted her lips and picks the towel on her bag, her brother turned his back on her for her to wipe his sweats on his back off, "It's been a week since I passed my resume for an internship, Kuya. Still don't have a response and I am nervous," she stated while wiping his back. "Why are you in hurry? You still have 2 weeks; besides they will accept you, just be patient." "Damn, Pat! Don't make your little sister a nanny, you are big already!" the man in number 67 teased him. He and his buddy laughed while shaking their heads. "You don't care, Randolph! To find your own sister to take care of you!" he shouted and raised his middle finger on him. Patrick and Porchia are so close, they told by their parents when they were still a kid to take care of each other until they become big and old enough. "Kuya!" she slapped his arms, "Don't you raise your finger like that!" she hardly said and puts a baby powder on his back. "Yes, Porch," he replied in a soft tone, "When will you going to have a boyfriend?" he asked that makes her raised her both brows. "Why are you asking like that, Kuya?" she asked back and gets his duffel bag and opens it. "Just want to know," he answered and take off his shirt, "If you will have your boyfriend then you cannot take care of me again, I will lose my sister who will wipe my sweats after practice," he seriously said. Porchia hands him the black shirt printed his surname on the back, "Here, wear that." She deeply breathes and puts her hands over her waist, "What are you saying Patrick the star? I will still take care of you no matter what," she replied to him. Patrick wears his shirt, "Is that so? Then, buy me a coffee later." He laughed and pick up his duffel bag to put the used jersey uniform inside. Porchia's face darkened, she was trick again by her brother, "I thought you were serious, Kuya. I was slightly touched." He touched her heart and slightly smile at him. Patrick put his right arm over her shoulder and pulled her to walk, "I will be happy if you'll have your boyfriend, Porch. But," they stopped walking while Patrick's index finger is hanging in the air, "Choose the one who you think is capable of loving you until the end, hmm?" he pushed her forehead using his finger. Porchia just nodding at him, she didn't know what he is up to but one thing she is sure of. Her eyes narrowed while glaring at him, "Don't tell me you already have a girlfriend?!" she asked. Patrick let her go and rubs his head, "No, of course, I don't have," he defensively answered. She stopped walking and cross her arms on her chest, her right brow raised on him, "You have a girlfriend!" her voice raised, the students who are walking by stares at them maliciously. Patrick's eyes widened, he went to her back and covered her mouth, "What the hell? Come on, they are staring at us," he whispered and pulls her. He roamed his eyes to see if he knew someone else around. "Hmmmp...K--mmp..." She was trying to get rid of his palm. Until they reach the parking lot of the University, he finally takes off his hand. Porchia is catching her breath, "Kuya! You are an asshole!" she shouted. "I am sorry..." "Why are you hiding your girlfriend? Do you want me to tell mom and dad?" she smirked and open the car's door. "I am not hiding anyone here and I don't have a girlfriend!" he exclaimed and opens the car's driver seat. "Then, why did you acted that way?" she asked before hopping in. "Because you are making a story. If that flies all over the University, I will kill you." She pouted and lean her back strong, "Whatever!" "We'll drop by in a coffee shop, but for me, I am tired." She rolled her eyes and nods. "Fasten your seatbelt, Porch." He commanded. "Yes, Kuya." She sighed. Patrick already steps the gas and the car run. She looks at the sideway, some students are just walking until the end of the school and where are the bus stops. His brother is one of her best friends, they eat and go home together. "Are you going to be away when you are already working?" Porchia looked at him, "Yeah, I think so. Companies that I applied are hours away, Kuya."
