"I can help you pack if you don't mind," Nanny offered when she walks into the room.
Today, I'll be heading to the airport. My flight will be taking off in two hours' time. I had to bribe Ace with chocolates. I promised to buy lots and lots of chocolate for him when he agreed to help me pack my stuff. He was right beside me, also helping me to pack. I'm going to miss them.
Two weeks is too long, honestly. "I'm going to miss you, Mommy," Ace said with a pout, "but you promised to bring lots and lots of chocolate."
Nanny burst out laughing. "You are hilarious, Ace."
He stared at her and said, "What's that?"
"She meant you are funny," I told him and kissed his cheeks.
"I promise to bring your chocolate to you."
He nodded with a grin. "Thanks so much, Mommy."
