Sensing a hint of hope for her to be in contact with Aaron again, Chloe naively came back to the manor the next day. She even hoped that she could meet Aaron that day.
'Maybe the one that Mr Ziglar called yesterday was Aaron. Maybe he came back,' that was what she thought innocently. But, she should know better than anyone else to not have her hope high because nothing good ever came to her that year.
