The vampire sighed in frustration as he stopped running, leaning against the fence. He knew all about the hole, how to sneak in, because Easton had told him before. He turned around and stared at the sleeping pack once more, staring at the houses. There weren’t many over here, near the abandoned broken down gas station, but the ones he saw were mostly dark, a few with a light here or there, most likely a child still awake.
