A few minutes later a nurse followed by mister Farrow enters the room and she helps me put on my shirt. My dad helps me off the bed and we slowly make our way down the hall. When we reach the waiting area Bullet jumps up but Jake holds him back, talking to him
“He’s hurt bud, don’t jump okay?” he says and Bullet yaps. He lets him go and he walks toward me and sits down, wagging his tail and whining
“Hey bud” I say letting my dad’s arm go to pet him. Okay bending over is s**t idea. I groan straightening up and snap my fingers to my right side. He moves and then I pat my chest and he jumps up
