“Ah finally. Freedom!” I exclaim in my best Wallace impression and he laughs
“That was terrible” he says but mom slaps him
“Hush” she says winking at me
“Oh so it’s like that?” he asks and Millie takes his hand
“Don’t be so sensitive Jake” she says and he places his hand over his heart
“Oh my god! I’m outnumbered and being attacked by the three woman I hold dearest to my heart” he says and we all snap our eyes to him, including Millie, who is blushing profusely
“Let’s get those ladies out” mom says nudging me and I laugh winking at Millie
“Behave you two” I call over my shoulder as mom drags me away to the stables
“Morning girls!” I call out and the neigh happily
“You ready to go riding?” I ask happily and mom chuckles
“What?” I ask and she turns to me, her eyes filled
