ALL FOR MONEY EPISODE FIFTEEN

I started pacing up and down then sat. Jeremy remained standing.

How could we not have seen this, how did we just forget about that conversation?. just then a call came through Jeremy's phone. It was Bosco. he was asking Jeremy to go to the botique to camp there and wait for me since it wouldn't be long before I showed up. Jeremy agreed and hanged up.this was now confusing.

Me: what if our theory is wrong?

Jeremy: we can't be wrong. Bosco has never threatened me before, but then again why would he ask me to go to the botique?

Me: to see if you would actually go. this is a trap or a test.

Jeremy: so what do we do?

Me: we play his game and beat him at it. Go to the botique, if he or his men sees you they will think they have been wrong all along and maybe you would redeem yourself.

Jeremy: are you sure about this?

Me: No. but it doesn't hurt to try. if we have to take down Bosco we have to think ahead of him.

Jeremy: I think we should attack tonight. get this revenge thing over and done with.

Me: you are right but we don't have any more bullets left for the job.

Jeremy: I will find a way to get some. after bringing down everyone we will have to burn down the place to erase any evidence that could trace anything back to us.

Me: how do we go about that, no one sells petrol to ordinary people without cars.

Jeremy: I will handle that.. we will need a car for all these though. we can't just walk there carrying guns in our hands without a get away car.

Me: Richard's car, the one he never used alot. He told me he had left it with his mechanic James. we cant get a good car like right now but we can go after that.

Jeremy: can you handle the car issue as I carry out Bosco's orders?

Me: yeah. I will go see the mechanic.

Jeremy: Be careful okay,

I nodded and watched him walk out the door. I picked my phone and called James the mechanic. Just as we were starting to have a conversation there was a knock on the door and I thought that Jeremy had forgotten something. I went to the door and opened it still on phone and there stood Jeremy, my mother in law, sue and three policemen. I told James I would call him later then hanged up.

Sue: Linda, we meet again.

Mother: officer this is the woman who disrupted my son's funeral and killed security officers who were there.

All of them making their way in. Police was the last thing I needed in my life on a day like this.

Jeremy: that's not true officer. this woman was only there to attend her husband and two sons burial. this lady is a very cruel and heartless mother in law.

Sue: Don't talk about my mother like that.

Jeremy: this is my house and you don't get to talk unless you are asked a question. officer why is she only talking about the part that is affecting her, has she told you the things she did to her?

(pointing at me)

Mother: officer, this man defending her is her lover, they conspired to kill my son so that they can continue their love affair.

Officer: Madam who is this man to you?

Me: He is my husband's closest friend.

officer: are you two having an affair?

Me: No,

Jeremy: No sir.

Officer: what are both of you doing living in the same house?

Jeremy: I took her in after her home was raided by thugs killing her husband and children.

Officer: I remember that incident, it was you madam.

Me: yes it was me.

Officer: why did you choose to come and live with him and not any other family member or friend?

Me: Family members including them treat me like trash, as for friends, I don't have any. he is the only one who was there for me after learning of his friend's death.

Mother: he has been there for you in deed, officer let this woman not charm you. she is a murderer. officer take this woman away.

Officer: madam, what right do you have to accuse anyone of murder? do you have any evidence of what you are saying?

she was silent and so was everyone else.

Officer: madam, stop wasting our time. do you have evidence of what you are saying?

Mother: No, but my daughter here is my witness.

Me: Her daughter who supports her even when she is on the wrong. officer, I respected this woman because she was my mother in law. I tried my best to fit in her standard but all she did was hurl insults at me and a day after her son died, both of them came and attacked me in my own house. they keep stalking and threatening me and if it wasn't for this man here I would be dead by now.

Officer: the security officers that died, you killed them why?

Me: I didn't kill anyone. I only went there to burry my children. in the process a man shouted saying there was someone with a gun, then the killings began. I had no hand in it.

Officer: are there at least two people who can attest to what you are saying?

I was silent but Jeremy said yes.

Officer: you are out of the question.

there was silence again. this wasn't as easy as I thought it would be.

Officer: am sorry madam, you will have to come with us.

just as they were about to handcuff me, Cecelia walked in with her boyfriend right behind her. sue and mother in law were shocked to see her.

Cece: I can attest to what she is saying officer. my grand mother is a liar, she is poisonous and full of evil.

Mother: Cece how did you get here?

CeCe: I followed you. when I saw the two of you leave, I knew you were upto no good. you are the worst grandmother ever.

Mother: Cece!....

Cece: No grand ma since people are talking the truth, maybe the officer should hear this...

she played a recording on her phone.

" the only way we will get our hands on your brother's properties and money is if we get rid of her. Ever since your brother married that witch we don't see a shilling from him. can you imagine your brother even bought her car, my son is dead now and I do not have any relation with her anymore. I will not rest until I get my hands on everything and send her back to the orphanage where she belongs"

Cece: my aunt has never killed anyone, infact all the killings at the cemetery was organized by her because she knew my aunt would show up. they wanted a reason to get rid of her for good.

Sue: officer don't listen to this girl. everything she is saying about my mother is a lie.

Cecelia's boyfriend: it's not a lie. I was there when their phones were frozen on the day of the burial and I was there when that recording was made. she didn't know we were in the house when she made that call. the truth is, this lady is innocent of everything she is being accused of.

when mother in law heard that her own grand daughter sold her out to save my skin she stormed out of the apartment and took off. one of the officers went after her as the remaining one put cuffs on sue.

The officer apologized for the disturbance and they grabbed Susan's arm as they left. Cece came and gave me a hug.

Cece: am sorry for everything grandma put you through. you didn't deserve that.

Me: thank you Cece. you saved my life.

Jeremy hugged her and her boyfriend and he excused himself to go to the botique as we had planned earlier.

how things had worked in my favor is still something I couldn't explain till now. one problem had already been solved for me.

don't ask me how my mother in law found out where I lived because I have no idea. the important thing was that I was not going to hear from her in a long time.

I entertained my guests and an hour later i saw them off. I gave them a little something as a token of appreciation for coming through for me when I least expected.

I called James again to let him know I was on my way to get my husband's car. he agreed and soon after I was on my way. I have never seen James before but Richard had given me his number just in case I needed his services.

I took a cab and went to see James. he was almost winding up when I got there. he took me to where Richard had parked his car and it was in good condition. james told me that when Richard brought

the car he got out and before he could tell him what the problem was, a van showed up and some people came out shooting In the air and everyone disappeared. I was shocked, looks like Bosco's guys had been following him.

I asked James if any one ever came to claim the car but he said No. He wanted proof to show I was Richard's wife so I showed him a portrait of me Richard and the boys and he handed the keys to me. He asked why Richard didn't come for the car and I told him what had happened.He checked the one last car to see if it had a problem but he said the car's condition was perfect and he was wondering why Richard brought it in the first place.

I got back home from the garage at around 4pm. Jeremy was already home and he was just Done putting the bullets in the guns. I got in sat right opposite him watching as he did what he was doing.He realized something was bothering and so he left whatever he was doing and sat on the table infront of me.

Jeremy: Hey, are you okay?

Me: yeah.

Jeremy: Doesn't look like it.

Me: I found Richards car at the garage. Am just learning that Bosco's men were after him and him taking the car to the garage was not because it had a problem but because he was scared and was looking for safety.

Jeremy: the mechanic told you that?

Me: No. but he told me that some guys came in a van, shot in the air and took him before he could say anything. He left him with the keys though.

Jeremy: you finding the car is a good thing right?

I nodded then attempted to get up and go get dressed for our killing spree but he grabbed my hand and pulled me back.......
