ALL FOR MONEY EPISODE SEVENTEEN

When Bosco saw that Jeremy was hesitant to kill me he took a gun from one of his boys and put it on Jeremy's head.

Jeremy: is this how we are going to work now Bosco, we have gotten to a point where you put a gun to my head?

Bosco: I feel like you are challenging me. you never do anything i ask you to do. Do you know this b***h?

I hated being called that and I hated when men used that term on women.

Me: my name is Linda.

I protested and that made Bosco pull my hair raising my face up to his.

Bosco: if I hear another word from you that does not concern money, I will kill you myself.

I could see the temptation in Jeremy face to start a gun fight but the truth is he wouldn't succeed alone with all these goons surrounding us.

Bosco: I asked if you know her DJ!

Jeremy: Don't you?

I didn't know what Jeremy was playing at but this was going to get both of us in trouble..

Bosco: you have my attention.

Jeremy: I don't know her on a personal level but I think I have seen her before.

Bosco:where?

Jeremy: I saw her severally handing an envelope to some guy. one of those days I followed the guy and realized he works for some other Drug dealer. someone i haven't met but I hear is very powerful!

He twisted everything and i knew he now had his attention. He turned to me and got down to be on the same level with me..

Jeremy: who do you work for?

Me: Go to hell!

Bosco pulled my hair even more.

Bosco: No one else is powerful around here but me!

Jeremy: is that what you think? the reason why I had not brought her to you was because I wanted to use her to know who the main guy is only to walk in and find her here.

Me: and you made a big mistake... You have no idea who I'm working for and you dont know what he is capable of doing..

Bosco landed another slap across my face and i had to take it.

Bosco: why didn't you tell me about her before?

Jeremy: you have been on my case lately with threats. I wanted to report after succeeding so that you don't put a bullet in my head.

Bosco: so now what?

Jeremy: she should take us to her boss.

Bosco: How is that going to bring back my 30 million?

Jeremy: we raid the place, take the cash and all the cocaine we find there, that should give you a good amount of money.

Bosco: Good thinking, but wait, her working with a different gang member does that mean that Richard was playing us too, was he part of that gang too?..

Jeremy: Richard, what has Richard got go do with her?..

Bosco looked at me then at him..

Bosco: she is Richard's wife.. the guy who disappeared with the money.. don't you have the memo?

Jeremy shook his head.

Jeremy: I didn't know that but i will find out everything we need to know about her and whoever she is working for..

Bosco: good, you are not useless after all. you think you can handle that?

Jeremy : yeah, I will bring back the money plus cocaine and any valuables i find there..

Bosco: good, and after all is done, kill her!

I raised my face to his and he seemed to have meant what he said..

Bosco: I want evidence. Brown and two other guys are coming with you.

The fact that Bosco had picked three other guys to come with us was bad. I knew all that was Jeremy's way of getting me out of there alive but the other guys coming with us got me worried. How were we really going to handle them and how sure were we that they were not going to put a bullet in both our heads?..

Bosco handed all of them bullets for their guns then Jeremy grabbed my arm and off we were to an imaginary boss.

Jeremy and I preferred using my car and so the other guys were ordered to ride with us and they sat at the back while Jeremy and I rode in the front.

The car was a bit tensed but quiet and i didn't know at what time Jeremy was going to make his move..

we drove for a while before the Jeep stopped abruptly at some corner that was a bit far off from the road and hidden from people's sight. One of the guys sitting behind asked what the problem was and Jeremy told him the car had a problem but he couldn't tell what the problem was.

He opened the door and got out then walked to the front to check what was happening. The two guys decided to go and help Jeremy check what the problem was and when they got to where he was, he shot both of them dead.They never saw that coming because they trusted Jeremy so much that they didn't carry their guns with them at the back..

Jeremy walked to the back and the other guy was already down with his hands up I got out and joined them. "wait" he shouted. we decided to listen but with both our guns raised to his face. His name was Brown.

Brown: I can help you take down Bosco.

Jeremy: who said we wanted to take down Bosco?

Brown: it was obvious in your body language when he was torturing her.

Jeremy and i looked at each other. What did he mean by that?..

Me: why should we trust you?

Brown: Because Bosco took something from me.

Me: what did Bosco take from you?

Brown: Bosco and my father were business partners for a long time until Bosco double crossed him and sealed a deal without him and tried to get my father killed. When he brought police to arrest him, he was arrested but he bought his way out. he came back and killed both my mum and dad. I came back from college and I was told by the neighbors that my dad had been rushed to the hospital and I got to the hospital, the last thing my dad whispered in my ear was Bosco. I couldn't make much of it so I went to see Bosco in an office they shared with my father. he pretended that he had no idea of what had happened to my parents and even took care of the funeral expenses. later he offered me this job and that's how I got it all figured out. so am not your enemy, I am just a coward who is afraid of facing and standing up to Bosco alone.

Jeremy dropped his gun and looked at me.

Jeremy: what do you think.

Me: I don't even know what to think. maybe we should give him the benefit of the doubt. The story sounds legit..

I didn't know if Brown was telling the truth or he was just playing us but we decided to buy his story anyway. I knew what it felt like fo be caught up in something you had no control of..

Jeremy: we have to go back and report to Bosco.

Me: what are you going to tell him?

Brown: that the guys DJ was talking about earlier attacked us and took you with them.

Jeremy: But as for you, I need you to go home and stay indoors. Don't go to the orphanage, ask Florence to come over and tell you what the burning issue was. I will pay for her cab back home.

I got in the car and drove away while Brown and Jeremy headed back to the site to see Bosco.

I got home at around 8:00pm and I called madam Florence since she had called like 5 times but I didn't answer. my phone had fallen inside my car when I was grabbed and when i spoke to her, I had to cook up a lie of why I didn't show up.

madam Florence insisted that she had to see me as it was very important and it couldn't wait. I gave her the address to our new place and freshened up as I waited for her to come.

when Jeremy and Brown got back to Bosco, they found him waiting for feedback abd before Jeremy and brown left, they had smeared their shirts with blood from the two guys who Jeremy had shot.

when they walked in, Bosco stood up abruptly not having expected that they would show up that soon..

Bosco: I hope you have good news with you.

Jeremy: No. we were attacked on our way and they took the her.

Bosco: who is they?

Jeremy: the guys she is working for.

Bosco banged the table, took one of the chairs and threw it to the wall.

Bosco: am not buying that crap!

He walked up to Jeremy having folded a first.

Bosco: what the hell happened?....
