ALL FOR MONEY EPISODE NINETEEN

A few minutes later Jeremy came to my room and found me lying on the bed. I was still in tears after what I had just found out. my mother had been alive all this time and she never bothered to look for me then, why now?

Jeremy walked towards me and stood near the bed. "are you okay?" he asked sitting on the edge of the bed and gently rubbing my back. "No am not okay", I responded turning to the other side. I didn't feel like talking, I just wanted to sleep it off as I already had a headache. He got into the bed, wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer to him and i didn't protest because i wanted to feel loved and cared for

Jeremy: you want to talk about it?

I didn't respond...

Jeremy: you know I will always be here to listen right?

I nodded and he rolled me over to turn and face him as I made myself comfortable lying on his chest. he didn't say a word but let me sob as he run his fingers through my hair massaging my scalp and letting his other hand explore the other parts of my body. I was really upset not only because of Maggie but also because of what I had been through with Bosco, I even ended up dragging Jeremy into that mess.

Bosco was never going to stop. Brown's story just made me realize how ruthless he was. He was not going to stop until he killed me or got the money and about the money, I had actually thought that the cash my husband stole from Bosco was in the car but it wasn't there. Jeremy and I looked for it, we even dismantled seats but the money wasn't there.

My life is full of bad luck. Jeremy and I had to figure out where Richard could have hidden the money but how?

I had a feeling that Bosco was playing us but he was keeping it quiet and if he ever laid his eyes on me again, he would pull the trigger himself.

in the middle of all these thoughts I fell asleep in Jeremy's arms and he didn't wake me as he felt I needed the rest. it's been a rough couple of days with sleepless nights. just turning and tossing.

I woke up in the morning and Jeremy was not beside me, am not sure of what time he left but I guess he didn't want to wake me. I got up, wore my sandals and dragged my feet all the way to the living room. it was around 9:00am in the morning.

Jeremy was seated on the couch doing some work on his laptop. when he heard me come into the room he looked up and i stopped abruptly.

Jeremy: Hey beautiful,

Me: Hey

Jeremy: come here,

he said putting his laptop on the table and stretching out his hand so that I could take it. I walked towards him and took his hand and He made me sit on his lap as I put my arm around his neck.

Jeremy: How are you feeling?

Me: am okay.

Jeremy: are you sure?

Me: No.

he Smiled.

Jeremy: I thought so and since you didn't eat last night, I prepared breakfast.

He said caressing my exposed thighs as i was wearing a not so long T-shirt..

Me: Thanks.

He planted a wet kiss on my mouth then I got up from his laps and went to the kitchen to get us breakfast.

I came back and he was on phone with someone. seemed like it was a lady but I didn't ask.

when he was done with the call we had breakfast and he dressed up ready to leave.

Me: Going somewhere?

I was so used to Jeremy around that I didn't want him to leave me behind.

Jeremy: yes, am stepping out for a while. Lilly needs to see me but I will be back before you know it.

when I heard Lilly I felt things. there were traces of jealousy and apart of me never wanted to let him go. He noticed that the smile on my face changed when he mentioned Lilly.

He held out both hands and when I took them he pulled me up and hugged me gently caresing my back and in his arms I became more vulnerable, he made me feel so much alive and this very moment I realized I had fallen in love with my husband's best friend.

Jeremy: I will be back. I just need to clear a few things with Lilly then I will come back to you.

I hugged him a little longer before letting go.

Jeremy: Don't leave the house. Bosco's men are all over and I don't want him pulling your hair or slapping you again.

Me: I won't , I promise.

he gave me one last kiss before walking out.

I switched on the tv and lay on the couch. it has been a while since I had some alone time.

Florence kept calling me but I didn't want to receive her call because I knew she wanted to talk me into forgiving my mother, Maggie is the last person i wanted to deal with.

Jeremy met up with Lilly at a restaurant they both loved going to. Jeremy has not been active in the relationship as we have been busy trying to kill Bosco and at the same time try finding our ways into each other's hearts.

I wasn't supposed to have these strong feelings towards him, it just happened. I can't teach my heart who to love or how to feel.

Lilly was worked up while Jeremy tried to remain calm even as the conversation became uncomfortable.

Lilly: why wasn't I able to reach you, did you block me Jeremy?

Jeremy: I didn't. I lost my phone

Lilly: But you have one now,

Jeremy: yes, that's why we are here.

Lilly: you have changed.

Jeremy: how do you mean?

Lilly: you are so cold towards me. your friends wife, you still stay with her?

Jeremy: yes.

Lilly: are you sleeping with her?

Jeremy was silent.

Lilly: so you are sleeping with her, so where does that leave us?

Jeremy: was there an us anywhere? refresh my mind because i can't recall.

Lilly: Babe!

Jeremy: it has always been for the money right, did you even love me, how much do you want?

Lilly: don't talk like that. you know I love you.

Jeremy: was that before or after you told me that you are not interested in something serious?

Lilly: that was then, am ready now.

Jeremy: it's too late for that. you thought i would seat and wait for you to make up your mind?

Lilly: i was dealing with alot of stuff then and i could not give you all my time. wait, is she the reason why, of all the people you could settle for it had to be your Best friend's wife?

Jeremy: she is special, that is something am not expecting you to understand. when you love someone, you believe in them and treat them with respect. I never got that from. I could have told you all these over the phone but I still respect you. I would appreciate if you don't contact me any more.

there were tears balancing in Lilly's eyes. Jeremy got up and Lilly did too throwing herself at him to give him a hug. he hugged her then turned to leave but before he could get far he heard glass shutter everyone went down.

Jeremy managed to find a back door out of the restaurant but Lilly was captured. he didn't have time to go back for her.

a few customers were shot and so were the innocent Waiters who were serving them. Jeremy got into a cab but before he did he spotted another one of Boscos van.

while in the van he got a call from Brown.

Jeremy: yes Brown

Brown: there is a problem

Jeremy: what is it.

Brown: you need to get out of where you live, Bosco's men are attacking tonight.

Jeremy: how did Bosco know where I live?

Brown: I told him.

Jeremy: you did what? how did you know where I live.

Brown: Bosco and I followed you to your gate the other day with a gun to my head.

DJ you need to get put of there ASAP!

Jeremy: thanks for the heads up. i think they followed me to a restaurant too and kidnapped a friend of mine, find out where they are taking her and give me a call.

Brown: sure DJ. am sorry

Jeremy: don't worry about it, I know how Bosco works.

Jeremy got home at around 1pm and the look on his face told me everything was wrong. I served him lunch but he didn't eat much.

Jeremy: we need to get out of here now!

Me: does it have anything to do with meeting Lilly?

Jeremy: Don't be jealous, we didn't do anything but you might want to know that Bosco is planning an attack on us tonight.

That came in a shock... How did Bosco know about us, did he find out that we played him?...
