Shawn Crest. "Yes mother, I understand....uhum... Of course....no, that's not exactly what I'm saying... No, no mother.... Fine, okay. I hear you.... I'll talk to you later, I have a meeting now. Yes... love you too." I exhale my breath deeply, shoving my phone back into my pocket, as I stay motionless for a while. My mother can be persistent. Whatever she wants, she makes sure you do it for her, either she blackmails you lovingly, or play the mother card on you. And what the issue we're talking about? A wife. For God's sake I'm still in my early thirties, rather, soon to be in my early thirties, coming next month. And my mother, is planning on hosting a birthday party for me. I'm not a kid, for f**k sake. I don't need a birthday party. But infact, that's not the issue. Not only does she want to host a birthday party for me, but also wants me to bring home a fiancee and if not, someone that I'm serious with, instead. Truthfully, I haven't ever taken a woman home or invited anyone to my parents, because I definitely haven't found one. Not until recently, that is. It is still unclear, as to what Bonnie would want, but as of I, I do want something serious with her, and not just to play around. "Mr Crest?" I hear Kaitlin's voice, pulling me out of my trance. "You have an appointment again, with Mr Vuitton immediately after your present meeting, I suggest you attend now, in order to meet up." Kaitlin speaks. How the hell would I remember, when my thoughts, have drifted off to Bonnie. "Okay." I respond and we move. I walk into the conference room, seeing all of my board of directors, on sit. "Good day to you all," I speak taking a seat, as they all respond with due respect. "I called this urgent meeting as of our critic problem, of missing funds. I have made a decision and would like to know your opinion on that, and if you all are not able to give a better and more strategic solution, then my decision would be taken." I intertwine my fingers, speaking straight to the point. "We're all ears." Devine speaks and I nod. "I'm planning to stop all developing and incoming projects, for the next three months." I tell them, and watch as they all start to share glances. "But, Mr Crest, you do know if we do that, the income profits are going to drop for almost about 30%, and.. " Fredonia begins, and I cut in. "I know that and it's 28% to be exact. That why I stated incoming and developing, I intentionally excluded developed projects." I defend. "Even as that Mr Crest, that would bring our development down, for those three months," Devine speaks again. "Which I know. And we would always rise back. Immediately after those three months, series of meetings and statistics would be held. New innovations, which I'm sure we can do, to better lower our loss. Yes the next few months would be different, but I would ensure that everyone still get their salaries intact, the only reduction would be in employees welfare and project funds. 3% from employees and 25% from project. But if any of you feel you have a better idea, I'm all hears. But if not, my decision is final." I sternly say. They all remain silent, as they talk to each other, while I lean back on the chair. "Kaitlin?" I call silently as she comes closer to me. "How many minutes do I have left?" I ask. "30 more minutes sir." she says and I nod. I decide to give them 10 more minutes, to discuss whatever it is they feel is necessary. The ten minutes go by quickly before  Sandra speaks up. "Mr Crest, what if we raise the prices of our commodities and then stop the projects, therefore we wouldn't need to cut any other development or fall back." I look around all of them, seeing that they all agree with her proposal. "No" I say plainly, and they stare at me in bewilderment. "We raising the price of our products, gives us a better interest, but not to the people buying our products. We doing that, have to make the buyers work harder, in order to afford our products and not only that,  it also will bring about a slow sale in the market, because it becomes expensive." I reason and they all keep silent. "we will only be raising everything by 28%." Sandra speaks again and I shun her. "I believe you all do not have anything better?" I ask and they stay quiet. "If that is it. Then my decision stays." I finalize. "If that is all," I ask getting up and ready to leave. When none of them says anything, I take that as my cue. "Have a nice day." I say, then leave. ---------------- "Shawn, it's good to see you again" Louis pats me on the back, as we hug. "It's good to see you too. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see you the last time I was here." I tell him, as he guides me to his office. "Yes, unfortunately. Please, have a seat." he offers and I accept. "And I hear you didn't pick up anything, when you came?" Louis asks more like a statement. "Yes, that wasn't the sole intent of my coming." I tell him and he listens more attentively. "Really? okay. What is then?" Louis asks and I inch closer. "I need your help with something." I say. "I need to know something." I talk more. "Anything. If it's something I can tell you, I would." He says and I nod respectively. "okay. I need to know about the time, Simon wassier was a stakeholder, and why he left the industry." Louis c***s his eyebrows looking at me questionably. "If you don't mind me asking Shawn, why would you want to know about Simon wassier?" Louis asks. "I have my reasons Louis, and I need to confirm a hunch." I speak honestly. "Okay. Well, Simon left being a stakeholder, along with 5 other stakeholders here. There was an issue some years back, of missing funds, which created a major issue here at LV, almost making us go bankrupt. Simon along with the rest of the 5 stakeholders, decided that they couldn't be part of a company that almost ran bankrupt, and what if that happened again? So, they decided to leave the industry. And ever since, that's the last I heard from any of them." Louis explains, and I start to run a hand through my hair. That bastard! So he's doing the same thing again! And this time to me. My hands ball into a fist as I close my eyes in distress. Simon wassier, this will be your last! It is clear now. Even if I don't have proof yet, tieing Simon to my hunch, I deeply believe he is behind the embezzlement. "Shawn, there is something going on, isn't it?" Louis asks and I don't say anything. "Shawn, talk to me. Did Simon do something?" Louis says and i exhale, rubbing a hand through my chin. Oh Simon, you are so dead, when I get my hands on you. "Thank you very much Louis. I deeply appreciate it. I'll take care of the rest, and I'd want this to be just between us please?" I tell him and he nods. "I understand, but, I tell you about Simon and you tell what's going on." He says and I reason with him. It's only fair. "Fine..." I begin, but get interrupted by the knock on the door. "Come in," Louis answers taking his attention from me, down to the door. The door opens and my whole mood changes, when I see who walks through it. Bonnie. "Mr Vuitton, I have here....." she begins, when her attention drapes to the side, and she observes me. "Oh sha... Mr Crest, I didn't see you there. Good day to you." Bonnie says, and I almost chuckle at her swift, in professionalism. "Good day to you too Bonnie. It's good to see you again." I say, with a smirk. Oh, it's more than good to see her. I want to say more than that, but that would just be obvious, and judging by her tone, she wouldn't want Louis to know about us, being informal with each other. Or more than that. "Sir, I have here with me, the statistics of the new project. It's... " I watch her  talk professionally as I admire everything about her. Not only is she beautiful, but hardworking, as I would notice. The way her lips move, the way her body moves with her words, making me glance at her figure the more. F**k I'm definitely mesmerized. I lean back on the chair, as I take in her appearance and beauty, along with her attire. She's wearing a dark blue buttoned up, female suit that seems to grip her behind firmly. Now I'm becoming a pervert. I take my eyes off her, recollecting that I do have business to attend to, than to pervert my eyes in something that isn't mine. Yet. "Louis, I'll be taking my leave now. Seems you have a lot on your hand. we'll talk another day, that I'm sure of." I assure him and he nods, understanding. I glance back to Bonnie, seeing her gaze anywhere but me and I smirk. Okay then, let's play your game. "And Bonnie, do have a nice day." she raises her head to stare at me and I find myself not wanting to leave again. She smiles, letting me notice her dimple and says. "Have a nice day, Mr Crest." I nod and leave. But no, I wasn't actually leaving yet. I walk downwards, down to the edge as I pick out my phone and wait for Bonnie, knowing she's eventually going to walk through here.  There is also a possibility, that she may not come out now, and if she isn't, then, I'll have no choice, but to leave. I wait for about ten minutes, and decide to wait two more. If she's still not through, I'll have to be going, because of my other businesses. The sound of a door closing, erupts me out of my thoughts as I look up and see its Bonnie. And if it was Louis, no doubt I'll have to come up with a lie and tell. Or not. It's not like he will give a s**t about whom I'm interested in, as long as it doesn't interfere with his work. Bonnie's head still aside, as she closes the door meetly, her attention, still not at her front. A smirk makes a way through my lips, as I envisage her expression, when she unexpectedly, sees me again. And that happens. She stops for a while, shocked and confused as I was still here, which is later on replaced by a smile as she walks down to me. It looks at though I am watching an angel descend from the sky, and even if I said she is not like the women I carry, I'll be damn proud of her, if she eventually becomes mine. Which I will make sure of. "Shawn, I thought you had left?" she meets me, with a two or three steps distance between us. I walk closer to her, towering her, as she stares at me. "And I thought, it'd be stupid of me not to see you, before I leave." I confess, gazing at her brown orbs. "That's not true. What about if I had stayed longer. You wouldn't have continued waiting, would you?" she raises her eyebrows, thinking I only said what I said, to please her. "True I wouldn't, but I would know that I did wait for you. Also, it was a risk worth taking." I explain, observing her bite her lip gently. I have come to notice that, with Bonnie, she tends to avoid eye contact, whenever she's feeling nervous, shy or blushes. "And what if it was Mr Vuitton?" she asks, taking her head up. "Then I'd just tell him. Let me tell you Bonnie, you're not someone I want to hide to Louis or anyone." The moment those words slip out of my lips, Bonnie's expression changes, to something of surprise. Now, it doesn't take a genius to know that I'm definitely trying to woo her. She looks taken aback for a while, before she gives me a tight smile and then the smile grows little by little, before smiling fully. Good, because I want to show her to the world. "Thank you, but I would like for Mr Vuitton not to know about our developing relationship." she specifies, and I nod acceptably. "Inorder for me to do that, I'll also need a favor from you?" I tell her, and she picks her eyebrows upward. "Of course, if I can, I would." She replies sincerely. "I need to pick out the latest trending styles for someone, and I need your help based on the fact that, she's a female." I speak, watching her every expression. "That wouldn't be a problem. Why don't we get going and I'll show you all our latest?" she advices, as I tuck my hands into my pockets, and walk with her. "What size is she?" she asks as we walk. "I'm not really sure, but I think I'll say, someone like your size." i explain, slyly. I just hope Bonnie isn't getting my point by now, because that would ruin what i have planned. "Like me?" she asks again and I agree. "Okay, we sure have them," she says, as we reach a rack of hanged clothes. I was going to say with shoes  but that would just reveal what I'm planning. I don't want to think of the fact, that maybe it may be too soon to spend on Bonnie, but I honestly do not mind that. Even if eventually she says no,  to me, I wouldn't force her, or make her feel entitled to me. Yes, the clothes are for Bonnie. "Okay, we have this crepe dress with a nicely fitted flay around it. This is a chiffon top..." she starts to say but my attention drifts off to her lips,  staring at how flexible it moves, and plump it looks. I loose count of the kind of attires she shows me, as all my observation is on her. I'm so whipped! The ringing of my phone, brings me out of my perverted trance. "Sorry, excuse me." I plead and she accepts gracefully. I pick up my phone from my pocket, seeing it's Kaitlin and I answer. "Sir, Representatives of Fox enterprise have arrived, and are awaiting your arrival. Are you on your way?" Kaitlin speaks through the phone, and I mentally curse. Shit! I knew I had a meeting with Fox enterprise, but the moment I saw Bonnie, it skipped my memory. "Yes I'm on my way.  Tell them to wait for me, I'll be there in 30 minutes." I order Kaitlin, as we end the call. "I'm sorry Bonnie, but I'll have to go.  I have a meeting." I inform her, seeing a hint of disappointment in her eyes, but that quickly leaves, as she masked it. "It's fine, I understand" she smiles. "Thank you. I trust you can pick the best out of them  and make them email it to my PA, and she'll complete the rest." I say, moving away from her. If I really wanted to meet with them at the office, I had to hurry, and knowing Fox enterprise, they are impatient. "Oh, okay. I'll pick the best." she assures me. "I know you would." I say. "See you on Saturday Bonnie." I stare at her, and the little gap that I've given us, and she smiles nodding.  "See you on Saturday shawn." she bites her lip, this time gazing at me. Now, I'm the one being impatient.
