The city spread huge and far at Enrique's feet as he stared out of the full length windows. The world was so big. And so empty. Despite being surrounded by the chaos of New York, all he could hear was silence. Just silence. Enrique sighed deeply and was distracted by the ping on his phone. It was a text from Ivan.
Ivan: Am on my way. See you in twenty.
He took a long deep breath and grabbed his leather jacket and wallet as he headed out to meet up with his best friend after an year and half of playing hide and seek with him, with everyone actually. Even with himself. If he didn't meet up with him tonight, Ivan would have definitely sent hunt men to kill him.
