The way my heart was hammering in my chest, I felt certain that Tom must be able to hear it and it was doing nothing to calm the flush on my cheeks that bloomed of its own accord.
“Is everything okay Lily?” He asked and the way my name sounded on his lips sent a pleasurable shiver down my spine.
