(Amber's POV) I let out a slow, shaky breath as I watched the rigid back of Ryan leave through the doorway, acutely aware of the beads of sweat trickling down my back. I couldn't believe that had just happened. If Ryan ever found out that I had betrayed him I was terrified about what he might do to me.
