-THIRD POV- “RANCH del Romance? Take the west road and it will lead you to your destination, young man." An old male wolf saw the confused Zacria Reid in the middle of the crossroads at the southern part of DarkStone territory. The Alpha who disguised himself as a commoner wearing a fitted shirt, blue pants and a pair of boots sniggered and scratched his nape as he remained seated on the big bike that he borrowed from his complaining second in command. "I've been to all places in this pack except this area, sir," he muttered and shook his head. "I wonder why I haven't visited the del Romance ranch even once. Now, I felt like I've missed something big for not seeing it whenever I had free time." "You did, young man." The old man laughed. "Del Romance Rance is one of the beautiful households here in DarkStone. It's well maintained by the owners especially the young lady who lived there. Anyway, I am also going there to fix the broken pipes in the villa but a friend who lived nearby this place invited me for a cup of tea." Zacria hummed and examined the man he was talking to. The Alpha knew the old man is of low rank. He's typical-looking with wrinkled skin and grey hair. He's wearing a dirty white t-shirt with lots of small holes, faded brown pants, and old loafers. He also noticed a toolbox in his hand and it seemed heavy to carry. "Want me to give you a ride to your friend's place, sir," with concern in his voice, he offered the old man but was quickly declined. "Thank you for the offer but my friend's cabin is in the opposite direction. Though, if it won't bother you, I would like to ask if you could please bring the toolbox to the ranch, young man," the old man widely smiled which showed his incomplete and yellowish teeth. Zacria shrugged his shoulder. "It's not a bother, sir. I'll bring the toolbox." With that, the old man's face beamed in relief as he gave the heavy box to him. "Again, thank you, young man. With your kind heart, you will be blessed with a beautiful maiden." The Alpha chuckled before he turned the ignition of the big bike on. "May your words be heard by the Goddess of the Moon, sir. That she'll send me today my soulmate." "Oh, she will! Trust me, you'll meet her today!" Zacria knew he should not take the old man's words to the heart but as he drove off to the del Romance ranch, he found himself wishing that it'll come true. He's not getting any younger and his Beta is right. DarkStone needs a Luna. "Damn it!" He cursed under his breath as he blamed Magnum Sasha who started putting seed to his head but as he thought of his Beta, he doubled the speed of the big bike. Magnum Sasha and he had the same built and height. They also had resemblance but the suppressant was not enough to mask his second in command's scent. Zacria has scheduled a meeting with the Alpha Alliance at noon and he only has a few hours to personally see and meet his savior. He doesn't need to introduce who he really is anyway. He could pretend he's just one of the Alpha's men and give the invitation to mating season ball to Lucy del Romance as a gift from the Alpha of DarkStone and then finally return to the city. -TIME SKIP- ZACRIA hopped down his big bike and carried the toolbox. His eyes scanned the whole surrounding and he couldn't deny that what the old man said earlier was true. Del Romance Ranch is one of the most remarkable households in DarkStone. It was a wide property with gardens filled with plants and flowers on both sides of a classic villa. Barn in the east and stables in the west. Different trees full of fruits, birds, animals wandering around. The Alpha was impressed. Zacria filled his chest with fresh air before he began walking towards the villa with the box of tools in his hand. As he was on his way to the house, a familiar red-haired girl went out wearing an old below-the-knees dress for a servant and a pair of flat worn-out shoes. She might have heard his footsteps and felt his presence as she suddenly spun around and turned to Zacria. Their eyes met and the Alpha suddenly halted while the girl; Lucy froze from her spot. The wind blew and for a moment, the time seemed like it stopped from moving as they stared at each other like they were both stunned. No one batted an eye, no one breath for few seconds. The air was filled with tension and only the birds chirping could be heard around until Lucy shook her head and broke the magical moment. Her eyes turned to slits and she began marching towards Zacria with her hands on both sides of her hips. As soon as she stopped in front of the disguised Alpha, she instantly released a loud screeching and snapped. "You! Why are you so late!" The Alpha who finally recovered from his trance blinked and gazed at her in puzzlement. "What?" he muttered. Lucy rolled her eyes at him and stomped her feet on the ground. Strain washed all over her face. "For God's sake, Mr.Plumber Man! I've been waiting for you since this morning. Do you know that it's already noon! We have no enough time to fix all the broken pipes so don't just stand there!" Zacria was about to open his mouth to reply but the red-haired girl yanked him in the arm towards the house. "Come on! We have to move before the witch comes." Zacria gaped at Lucy. For a moment he doesn't know what to do but later on, he just allowed her to drag him to the house. Knowing that she mistook him for a plumber man, he couldn't help but feel a little disturbed. It seemed like he won't be able to return to the city just like he had planned.
