"Mira!"
My eyes went wide with shock. My heart sank deeper within my ribcage. I let out a shaky breath before jumping to my feet and running to her. I sank beside the hurting Mira instantly.
"We're under attack!" Someone screamed from a distance.
Yet all I did was look down at Mira as she choked on her own blood. My fingers trembled as I moved them over the arrow in her chest before moving them to her face.
Her eyes were wide open as she tried to speak. There was disbelief in her eyes as tears rolled out of them. She writhed in pain on the floor and all I could do was watch her.
"Run!" Another voice screamed. I heard the whimpers of fear from the girls and I could feel them hovering over Mira and me.
Suddenly, Mira stopped moving. Her struggles came to an end and I watched a
