~ALTHEA The piercing pain rang through my head. My eyes began to water and I felt those same hands hold me protectively. "So you survived. . ." A familiar voice whispered from somewhere in my head. It echoed over and over again, therefore causing an involuntary shiver to run down my spine. I did not need to be told who it was before I recognized its owner. I could never miss that burnt voice anywhere. It was Calanthé. "It seems I underestimated the monster within you. . ." The pain only intensified and I cried out. Yet those warm hands wrapped me into a more protective hug. Despite feeling vulnerable to Calanthé, the man made me safe. I knew that it had to be one of the brothers, but I could not tell who. "It doesn't matter, sooner or later, you'll destroy everything yourself.
