~KAEL I stood outside, before the huge monument of my father. My hands were tucked in my pocket as I stared at the fierce statue. He had chosen to have his wolf sculpted instead of his human form and now I knew why. Everything about the vicious stone wolf before me depicted the kind of person that he had been. All of his subjects called him a monster. I would have dismissed it had I not lived it myself. My wolf curled at the bad memories. I looked down at the water surrounding the statue and caught my reflection in it. Instead of our usual dark outfit which had become like an untold tradition since father died; I had a gray shirt on and a dark pair of loose pants. The early morning sun soon cast its reflection in the water and this caused me to squint, therefore forcing me to look back
