ALTHEA I stood in the middle of the room, still staring at it in disbelief. "You can handle this, right?" Cynthia asked, her voice snaking into my ears from behind. I wanted to give her a rude reply but I suddenly remembered Mira's warning before speaking. So I just forced a smile at her.
