The other two brothers stared back at us with surprised eyes. The rate of my heartbeat accelerated again and I felt as if my world was about to end.
Caliban slowly turned his face back to me and I was met with the coldest gray stare that he had ever given me. The little light of hope that I might have had vanished and my body began to tremble again instantly.
I swallowed the bile that had risen up my throat and I was not even done when he shot his hand at my neck and grabbed it, lifting me in the air within seconds.
I let out a shocked gasp as I glared at him with wide and frightened eyes. His grip was so strong that my oxygen supply was cut off instantly and I tried grabbing at his hand to break free but I already knew that it was a futile attempt.
