I could still feel the tingle in my lips and I was almost tempted to raise my fingers to my lips to touch it. My gaze traveled between Kane and Drogo as they engaged in a glaring Contest. I was almost tempted away but for the life of me, I couldn't seem to move from where I stood.
My brows furrowed in confusion when Kane said Drogo was going to hurt me. I wondered what he meant. It didn't do anything to quell down the panic that was building within the confines of my chest. My lungs suddenly felt too dry and I don't know why I was too affected that Kane had seen the both of us.
I didn't want to assume that it was jealousy but the way he stared Drogo down was so intense, almost venomous. I closed my eyes and I sighed. I suddenly needed to leave this place.
